Privacy Policy

TagWorks is a product of Meghware Solutions LLP ("Meghware", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through tagworks.in and the TagWorks software, and how we use it.

1. What we collect

Download form. To send you the trial download links, we ask for your name, email address, company, phone number and operating system. Filling in the form is your choice, but we cannot send the download without it.

Licence activation and support. When you buy a licence or ask for help, you email us your machine code, purchase reference and any details you choose to include. The machine code identifies the computer the licence is tied to. It does not contain personal files or usage data.

Technical information. Our hosting provider receives standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type. Our spam-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) checks basic browser and device signals to confirm you are not an automated bot.

The TagWorks software works fully offline after activation. It has no telemetry or usage tracking and no cloud sync, and it does not send your label designs or data to us.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.

2. Why we use it

• To email you the download links and help you install and use TagWorks.
• To contact you by email or phone after your trial ends, to ask for your feedback and discuss buying a licence.
• To issue and manage licences and provide support.
• To protect the website and download form against spam and abuse.

You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing support@tagworks.in.

3. Legal basis

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process the information you voluntarily provide for the purposes stated on the download form and in this policy. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interest in supporting trial users and offering them a licence, and on performing our contract with you once you buy one.

4. Who we share it with

We do not share, rent or sell your personal information to anyone, including our distributors and resellers. We use the following service providers only to run the website and deliver your downloads, and they process data on our behalf:

• Amazon Web Services: website hosting, the download form, and secure storage of download requests.
• Resend: sending the email with your download links.
• Cloudflare: Turnstile bot protection on the download form.
• Google Fonts: web fonts, which are loaded from Google's servers and therefore receive your IP address.

We may disclose information if required by law or by a valid order of a court or government authority.

5. Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary technical data to tell people apart from bots. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

6. How long we keep it

If you do not buy a licence, we keep your download-form details for up to 12 months after your trial request, then delete them. If you buy a licence, we keep your details for as long as the licence is in use and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting or other laws require.

7. How we protect it

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in access-controlled cloud and email accounts. Only the people at Meghware who handle trials, licences and support can see it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, or stop contacting you;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of death or incapacity.

Email support@tagworks.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. In India, if you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

9. International transfers

We are based in India. Some of our service providers, such as Resend and Cloudflare, may process data outside India. We rely on these providers' standard contractual and security commitments.

10. Children

TagWorks is business software and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
